Number 4: In the scene where Neil drives through the building and crashes, the main characters emerge with debris (pipes, tools, stop signs) through their heads, and yet they continue to act as if nothing has happened. (The 4th One): This might be the least bad, as Gray kinda deserved it for being the most forgettable. An hour of aggressive alien slaughter left me feeling like I was watching a long version video game without the advantage of a pause button. The worst parts are the action scenes! They are confusting and/or lack of any kind of suspense and tension. The only thing this movie made me laugh is where General Hein's said "WHERE IS THE PROOF?!". I know it's the first attempt to make a photorealistic rendered 3D feature film, but I've seen better. This movie looks more like a Mass Effect movie than a Final Fantasy movie. Blurring the lines between reality and computer animation, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within is the first feature-length motion picture that brings vivid. I mean, did they even play one of the Final Fantasy games? The whole movie was dull, and very lifeless. This movie has barely anything to do with the Final Fantasy games.
